Turn it off immediately — don't wait to save files. Unplug the charger, hold the power button until the machine shuts down, and remove the battery if it's removable.
Do not put it in rice. Rice doesn't absorb moisture inside the chassis and can leave dust in ports. Instead, open the lid, place the laptop upside-down in an A-frame shape (keyboard facing down), and bring it to a repair specialist as soon as you can.
The longer liquid sits on the motherboard, the higher the risk of corrosion. Even if it boots the next day, hidden damage can cause failures weeks later.
